Brochure Website Design

Back in 2011 there was no such thing as responsive design and so most small businesses had what was called brochure websites. These where simple 5-10 page websites that had information about the companies and also the services they offered.

The term brochure website came from the companies themselves as they wanted their brochures online and realisation as to how powerful a website was for a business was a hard sell to these smaller businesses.

Working at Broker Network was a great introduction to these and due to the number of these produced I quickly realised that a lot of the site had the same layout and structure.

Header | Main Nav | Main Section | Footer

This lead me to create a template design system using Adobe Fireworks for Broker Network and using wireframes before I even knew what wireframes where.

Here are some of the brochure sites I designed while at Broker Network.
